In this multimedia guide Reinhold Messner will guide you through the museum from station to station. He will tell you exciting stories and the visit of the museum will become a new adventure.
As the centerpiece of the Messner Mountain Museum, MMM Firmian in Sigmundskron Castle near Bozen addresses the subject of man’s encounter with the mountains. In a setting dominated by the various peaks between the Schlern and the Texel range, the museum is spacious enough to be organized as an itinerary between the various works of art, installations and relics that it houses.

Every Tuesday in August: Experience and enjoy the evening atmosphere at the MMM Firmian, by visiting the museum or dining in our restaurant. With the onset of dusk (9 p.m.) Reinhold Messner will tell you stories from his life and answers your questions.
Attention: Reinhold Messner will tell his stories in German, it will not be translated into English. | In the evening-event the museummobilcard is not accepted.

How to get there
By car: Brenner-Modena motorway(A22), exit at Bozen Süd and take the Bozen-Meran highway, exit at Eppan, and follow the signs to Girlan. Attended parking area; parching charge: € 3.00. The parking area is also accessible for coaches up to 12 meters long.
By train: International train services to Bozen, regional train to Sigmundskron, from the station follow path no. 1 (20 min).
